Recovery Voices Count in Action!

Vermont recovery advocates hosted a Gubernatorial Candidates Forum at Burlington’s Turning Point Recovery Community Center on June 23rd. Five Democratic candidates and two Independent candidates participated in a moderated dialogue on addiction and recovery issues that was broadcast live on a local radio station. Learn more…

Recovery Community Organization news

Congratulations! The Bangor Area Recovery Network, Inc (the BARN) opened Bangor’s first Recovery Community Center earlier this month. Months of planning by community members paid off with an open house and coverage in the local newspaper and TV.

The Center on Community Alternatives (CCA) is completing a study that examines the growing practice among colleges and universities to screen college applicants for criminal histories.  Find out how you can participate here.
